What We Do

Step to the Future College Tours

Visiting campus is one of the most important steps a student can take in deciding if a particular college is right for them. However, traveling to these campuses can be extremely expensive. As such, Movement of Youth in collaboration with other community organizations hosts Step to the Future College Tours annually where students visit colleges and universities across the country to get to know the students and faculty who bring these institutions to life.

2017 Spring Break College Tour

On April 9 - April 14, we will visit the following colleges and universities: Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Stillman College, Tuskeegee University, Florida A&M University, and Florida State University.

In addition, we will visit the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

A GPA of at least 2.5 is strongly recommended (but not required) for participating students.
