Movement of Youth mentee and Research Triangle High School junior Brittany Worthy was recently accepted into her school’s National Honor Society. In order to be inducted into the organization, students must hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA, demonstrate leadership ability and good character, and conduct community service. After filling out an application, Worthy says that she attended an interview conducted by her teacher and counselor. She received her acceptance letter shortly after. Brittany’s NHS induction ceremony will take place on March 12.
In addition to this honor, Brittany was also awarded for being a scholar athlete during her volleyball season. After high school graduation, Brittany hopes to attend a four-year university and major in either bio-medical engineering or health science. She also plans to bowl on the collegiate level. We congratulate Brittany on her great accomplishments!
